Kindergarten is a place for every child to grow and learn, in every dimension of development. At Open Arms we take kindergarten very seriously and we believe your child will blossom and grow.  Our curriculum incorporates the whole child through art, language, science, social activities, religion, field trips and more.

We use Scott Foresman-Reading Street for our Language Arts program, Addison Wesley math and hands-on themes for science and social studies. We use computers and we also offer foreign language, once per week.

Kindergarteners are a bundle of energy and they are really on the move. At Open Arms we have a large outdoor play area and a lot of green space for running, jumping, skipping and exploring. We also have a full-size gymnasium for days when the weather doesn’t cooperate.

We incorporate Jesus time, music and a lot of reading and stories into our daily curriculum. We believe a positive kindergarten experience sets the tone for the rest of your child’s learning and our goal is to give your kindergartener the very best experience.
